For increased ?exibility, the DIS-F100G Series can also be mounted on a DIN rail. In addition, the DIS-F100G Series supports dual power input which allows for a redundant power supply configuration to make sure the switches continue to operate in the event of a primary power supply failure.The PoE-ready DIS-F100G-10PS-E features a total PoE budget of 240 W, capable of supplying up to 30 W of power per port to connected PoE-enabled devices leveraging existing conventional Ethernet cabling. Additionally, the PoE ports in each switch offer Long Reach PoE technology, allowing the use of longer network cable runs which are normally limited to 100 m. The Long Reach PoE technology supports cables up to 250 m long. This e?ectively cuts down deployment times, reduces cable clutter, and eliminates the need for dedicated power supplies to allow PoE-devices to be installed in remote locations.
